Please, friends, and readers. I have never asked you about anything, but now I do.

Please help the People of Tabasco, Mexico.

If you can, give something, anything is fine, to the Red Cross (Choose: International Response Fund) (or, if you speak spanish: Cruz Roja), so they can redistribute it to the people that need it.

An estimate of over 600 000 people have lost their homes as I write this, and around 80% percent of the state´s surface is now covered by water.

And, yes, to answer your question: The levee was never finished. They started working on it many years ago, but... mysterically "forgot" to make it ready.

Es tiempo de devolver lo mucho que el estado les brindó. Y para los tabasqueños que hace mucho se fueron es tiempo de solidaridad y hermandad.
